D9812 — Supports 25W MagSafe Wireless Charging Transmitter Control
Introduction
Bieland Technology has been deeply engaged in the “one-chip, multi-output charging” field for many years, committed to providing customers with minimalist, stable, and efficient wireless charging products through highly integrated chip design. This year, our newly launched D9812 wireless charging transmitter controller IC is designed to help customers easily build high-performance 3-in-1 wireless charging devices that comply with the latest Qi2.2 standard and support 25W MagSafe magnetic fast charging for phones—using a single-chip solution.
D9812: Highly Integrated, Simplified 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Design
The D9812 is not just a wireless charging transmitter IC; it is a highly integrated control center. It combines the key modules that affect product performance, cost, and development efficiency into one, offering the following advantages:
- Full Fast-Charging Protocol Support: It integrates complete wireless charging transmitter control and mainstream wired fast-charging protocols such as PD3.0 (PPS)/QC3.0/AFC, making it easy to design hybrid products with wired fast-charging ports.
- Core Performance Assurance: It adopts multi-channel fully synchronous digital demodulation and proprietary Wave-Monitor technology to ensure communication stability and anti-interference capability when charging multiple devices simultaneously.
- Comprehensive Safety Protection: The IC integrates overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection, as well as high-sensitivity foreign object detection (FOD). It also features built-in hardware-level OCP, providing precise cycle-by-cycle protection to lay a solid foundation for end-product safety.
- Excellent Scalability: A 100MHz core combined with PWM up to 200MHz provides abundant computing power and flexible drive control. It supports a wide 4–16V input voltage range and can optimize EMC performance, meeting the demanding requirements of various application scenarios from smart wearable charging docks to car chargers.
Based on the features of the D9812, we have developed the following products:
1. 3-in-1 Smart Charging Dock: A single chip can drive three independent coils, stably enabling simultaneous charging of a phone (up to 25W), earbuds (5W), and a watch (3W), significantly reducing PCB area and the number of peripheral components.
2. Premium In-Car Wireless Charger: A 25W MagSafe magnetic single charger with fan + thermoelectric cooling, meeting the stringent requirements of the front-installation/OEM market for high efficiency, high reliability, and rapid heat dissipation.
