D9612 “One-Chip, Triple-Output” Wireless Charging IC, Supporting EPP 15W Certification
As people carry more and more electronic devices, demand for charging two or more devices simultaneously is growing rapidly. In addition, Type-C interfaces and USB PD fast charging have become major trends. For wireless charging, products that support simultaneous wireless charging of multiple devices and USB PD fast-charging input naturally enjoy considerable market demand.
To meet this demand, Bieland previously launched the D9622 “one-chip, dual-output” wireless charging IC, which has been favored by multiple power supply manufacturers and has seen continuous shipment growth. Recently, ChargerLAB learned that Bieland has once again launched a “one-chip, triple-output” solution, the D9612. A single chip can provide three channels of 15W wireless charging transmitter control, further improving chip integration and helping reduce solution cost.
1. Bieland Releases the D9612 “One-Chip, Triple-Output” Controller IC

Bieland’s D9612 “one-chip, triple-output” wireless charging IC uses digital demodulation and offers strong anti-interference capability. All three wireless charging outputs are compatible with 5W, 7.5W, 10W, and 15W. They are three independent outputs that do not interfere with each other, and support Apple 7.5W, Samsung 10W, and EPP 15W fast wireless charging. In addition, the IC integrates recognition for mainstream fast-charging protocols such as USB PD, so no external protocol recognition IC is required; it can be powered directly by a PD charger, providing excellent versatility.

According to the datasheet, Bieland’s all-digital demodulation wireless charging transmitter IC D9612 integrates PD3.0 (PPS)/QC3.0/AFC fast-charging protocols and supports power input from a full range of Apple and Samsung PD/QC fast chargers. It supports adaptive input voltage and works with a wide range of adapters.
The IC integrates a 32-bit ARM processor with a 72MHz clock speed, and its PWM frequency is up to 144MHz. It also offers abundant memory and pin resources to meet various customization requirements.
Furthermore, the IC supports in-system firmware updates via USB, eliminating the need for a dedicated programmer. It integrates a dedicated multi-channel all-digital demodulation PHY and proprietary Wave-Monitor technology to ensure communication reliability. It supports WPC standard type architectures such as MP-A11/MP-A2/A28/A11.
2. Bieland Launches a 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Reference Design
Based on the features of the D9612 wireless charging IC, Bieland has developed a highly integrated and highly streamlined 3-in-1 wireless charger reference design. The complete solution has been fully tuned by Bieland, helping wireless charging manufacturers accelerate product launch.

The 3-in-1 wireless charger reference design is implemented on a single PCB and is equipped with three coil sets. One dual-coil set supports stand-type wireless charging for phones. One single-coil set supports charging for phones and TWS earbuds. The other watch wireless charging output can be defined as an Apple Watch charging dock or a Galaxy Watch charging dock according to customer requirements.

All three wireless charging transmitter coils are controlled by the same D9612 controller IC, and each channel uses a Bieland D9015 full-bridge power IC to drive the transmitter coil. The component layout on the PCB is highly streamlined.
Thanks to the high integration of the Bieland D9612 and the use of the Bieland D9015 full-bridge power IC, three wireless charging transmitter control circuits can be integrated on the same PCB. This eliminates the complexity of multiple PCB layouts, reduces development difficulty for engineers, and saves BOM cost.
In conventional 3-in-1 wireless charging solutions, three separate wireless charging controller ICs are generally required to achieve three-channel output control, and an additional USB PD sink protocol IC is needed to support PD fast-charging input. The PCB circuit design is complex, and both development cost and BOM cost are relatively high.
Bieland’s D9612 “one-chip, triple-output” wireless charging IC disrupts the conventional design by integrating three control circuits into one. Combined with Bieland’s own full-bridge power IC, it forms a highly integrated, highly streamlined three-channel independent 15W wireless charging solution. It can pass Qi EPP certification and is compatible with fast wireless charging for Apple, Huawei, Samsung and other phones, providing a new solution for the development of 3-in-1 wireless chargers.
At present, Bieland’s “one-chip, triple-output” solution is available for sampling and is ready for mass production. Customers with needs are welcome to contact us.
